GULF SHORES, Alabama — Police revealed Tuesday that a dozen people were involved in the counterfeiting and drug bust Thursday that started with three people trying to use about $900 in fake $20 bills to purchase tickets to the Hangout Music Festival.

It all happened around 5 a.m. Sunday, after a man in Gulf Shores called police saying his car was being stolen from his driveway.

BAY MINETTE – A pair of Bay Minette teens were arrested and charged for assaulting a woman and her son at a baseball game two weeks ago.

The April 29 assault at Halliday Park led to the arrest of Dylan Michael Capps and James Wesley Cook. The teens were detained Tuesday and booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center.

A routine internal audit has resulted in two men being charged with stealing from the Culinary Arts School at Faulkner State, according to a report from WKRG.

Ed Bushaw, who started the school, and instructor and chef Will Hughes are accused of using Faulkner State's tax exempt status and access to food vendors to cater private events for their own gain.
